These terms and conditions are always under construction and undergo tweaks and updates. Be sure to check in often.

By doing business with me you agree to have read and adhere to the following.

By purchasing a commission, you agree to:

Allow me, the artist, to post and advertise the completed, watermarked and unwatermarked work where they please. This includes, but is not limited to: DeviantArt, Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram, and some messaging services. Please inquire if you do not want work to be posted online.
Allow the artist to use the completed work for commercial use if it contains only my, the artist’s, original content. This includes, but is not limited to: floral paintings, scenery, and other abstract artwork that does not feature another individual’s copyrighted material.
Acknowledge that pricing is subject to change at my, the artist’s, discretion. This includes, but is not limited to: discounts, holiday events, individual character complexity, price reductions, and price increases. Any changes will not affect previous purchases.
Acknowledge that “co-payment” of and/or “co-owning” work is not permitted.
Acknowledge that you, the client, will not receive the completed file(s) until all payment is complete.
Acknowledge that I, the artist, reserve the right to refuse business to, mute, block, suspend/ban, and/or refuse refunds to any and all clients who fail to follow and agree to these terms of service, exhibit repeated, extremely poor communication, rude or inappropriate behavior, or unwarranted hate/“criticism” to my, the artist’s, work or person.
Acknowledge that if work is requested to be canceled, an appropriate refund will be administered depending on the progress of the piece. This applies to flat-price work ONLY. Works canceled during or after the base coloring phase will not be refunded. Starting fee(s) will not be refunded. While starting fees are not usually subject to refunds, they are open to discussion. Completed files will not be posted anywhere or sent to clients in the event of a cancelled piece.
Acknowledge that you, the client, reserve all rights to any and all original characters that you commission. I, the artist, will never claim ownership of clients’ original content.
Acknowledge that payments not completed in the allotted time will be cancelled and the freelance slot will be reopened to the public for purchase, when applicable. Please inform me, the artist, if any complications with payment arise during the allotted payment/hold time.
Acknowledge that, my, the artist’s, DeviantArt Points conversion is 100 points = $1.

By purchasing work, you agree not to:

Redistribute (post) the unwatermarked version of the completed work or any layer files. I, the artist, retain all rights to the original artwork of the design. However, sharing within social circles is acceptable. Please inquire about re-posting watermarked work.
Use the watermarked or unwatermarked version of the completed work or any layer files for commercial (money-making) use. I, the artist, retain all rights to the original artwork of the design. Please inquire about commercial rates.
Alter the watermarked or unwatermarked version of the completed work or any layer files in any way. This includes, but is not limited to: recoloring, editing, tracing, and/or removing of the watermark over the work. I, the artist, retain all rights to the original artwork of the design. Please inquire about color edits or filters.

Banned Content

I will draw almost any content you give me, with some restrictions:

Comic pages.
Pixel art. Aliased styles are available upon request, but pixel dolls and pixel art is not available.
Animations.
Vehicles.
Mecha/robots. Cyborg designs are accepted, but complex mechanical designs will not be.
Backgrounds/scenery.
Architecture.
Political propaganda.
Fetishes.
Explicit nudity.
Hate speech or hate symbolism.
Graphic gore and depictions of self-harm and other sensitive scenes.
Transformation scenes.

Feel free to inquire about potentially sensitive content and whether or not it adheres to the above.

And remember: I, the artist, reserve the right to refuse work if I deem its requested content to be against my Terms and Conditions of Service.
